Cora Greenberg, a social worker and educator, joined the Westchester Children’s Association as Executive Director in 1994. Ms. Greenberg holds an MSW degree from Hunter College School of Social Work and an MSEd in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and a BA from SUNY Binghamton. Immediately prior to joining WCA in 1994, Ms. Greenberg was the Associate Executive Director of Project Reach Youth, a multi-service youth and family agency in Brooklyn, New York, where she was instrumental in developing model programs in youth development, family literacy and after school education. Earlier, she had served as Executive Director of Interfaith Neighbors, a pioneering youth program founded and supported by more than 20 churches and synagogues on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, and as a Program Coordinator at United Neighborhood Houses, an umbrella for the 36 settlement houses and community centers in New York City. Cora lives in Pleasantville with her family.

Allison joined the Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) in 1998 as Deputy Director for the Children’s Health Initiative. She is currently responsible for WCA’s programmatic initiatives, leading WCA’s advocacy partnerships and community mobilization efforts. Allison received her BA from Amherst College and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. She brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit and community work both in the US and West Africa, as a Peace Corps Volunteer. After working in banking for three years, she returned to her passion of community development. She has held management positions at the National Civic League and Associated Black Charities. Ms. Lake has worked in youth development with the City Volunteer Corps program in New York City and the YWCA of White Plains & Central Westchester. Allison lives in Greenburgh with her husband and two children.

Limarie joined WCA in October 2007, and is responsible for the printed and online versions of Westchester Children By the Numbers. She has had extensive management, training, and marketing experience in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. Prior to WCA, she was a consultant for New York City’s Department of Small Business Services. At Public Health Solutions, a public health organization in New York City, she led database training for over 200 non-profit agencies in the greater New York City area, and helped start a citywide computer skills training program for HIV+ people. At Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, she managed and maintained the corporation’s employee benefits database. Limarie received her BA from Bryn Mawr College, and her MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She is also an avid cyclist and volunteers for the Bike Walk Alliance of Westchester/Putnam. Limarie lives in White Plains with her husband and son.

Betsy handles fundraising for WCA. A recent graduate of NYU’s Certificate in Fundraising program, Betsy brings a variety of experience to her job. Prior to her enrollment at NYU, she had a career as an opera singer, known as Elisabeth Van Ingen. After leaving the music business in order to raise her family, she founded and managed a successful software training company, Computer Options, Inc., a career more conducive to family life. She is a graduate of Lawrence University, holds a Master of Music Degree from Boston University, and was a Thomas J. Watson Fellow. Betsy lives in White Plains with her husband and son; her step-daughter is now a high school science teacher in San Jose, California.

Karyn, who joined WCA in 2009, is responsible for
general office management and provides development and technology support as well. She has provided administrative support in the corporate, social services,
and education sectors for more than ten years. Her
recent experience includes five years at a national child welfare resource center, two years in development, and on-going work in web site and database management. Karyn is a native of Mount Vernon, NY and currently lives
in the Bronx.
