Internships
WCA sponsors student internships throughout the year. Our internships provide hands-on opportunities to participate in advocacy on a variety of children’s issues in Westchester County. In recent years, student interns have made major contributions to our work. Most WCA internships are unpaid, although students may be eligible for stipends from their college or university. Students may receive academic credit for their internship.
The WCA office is accessible to public transportation and WCA provides parking reimbursement for interns who drive.
The time commitment for each internship is flexible, but generally require at least 8 hours per week. Priority is given to candidates who can commit consistent time over several months.
