The 2018 GPS4Kids Baseline Report Release

Gathering Policy Solutions for Kids (GPS4Kids) is WCA’s collective impact initiative aimed at making lasting improvements in the lives of our children and families in Westchester County. We have engaged more than 150 organizational and individual partners in the hard, yet fruitful work of defining and acting on a common agenda.

The Goal:

Westchester children and youth will thrive regardless of race or zip code.

This event celebrates our first GPS4Kids report since 2015. We will introduce six baseline indicators for our Phase I focus: keeping children in positive learning environments.

These data points serve as an assessment, a conversation-starter, and an action step towards better outcomes for children and families.

We will also facilitate a panel discussion with the following leaders in the County:

Daniel Bonnet – Deputy Director, Center for College & Career, The Guidance Center of Westchester

Cheryl Hunter-Grant – Executive Director, Lower Hudson Valley Perinatal Network

Dr. Joseph Ricca – Superintendent, White Plains School District

Alana Sweeny – Executive Director, United Way of Westchester & Putnam

Join us Tuesday, April 17, 8:00 -10:0am at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown for this important community conversation to discuss the current state of children and families, and how you can impact their future success.
