Speak Out for Youth - Saturday, October 20, 2012 The Speak Out for Youth was an opportunity for young people and their adult allies to raise their voices on priority issues for children and teens in Westchester County. There was live entertainment, food, and more. Results of the event will be shared with government leaders and candidates for election. |

2012 County Budget
The VOTE for KIDS Campaign has entered its second phase. You've VOTED for KIDS, now tell your officials do the same! CLICK HERE for an analysis of budget items concerning children and youth. Thanks to you, our team of advocates, the VOTE for KIDS Campaign has been a success! On Thursday, December 22nd, the Board of Legislators overrode County Executive Rob Astorino's vetoes of vital community services, including childcare supports, youth programming, and neighborhood health centers.
2011 County Elections
All 17 seats on the Westchester County Board of Legislators were up for election on November 8, 2011. Legislators make decisions for more than 40 departments that directly affect you and the community, such as: Public buses, Parks and recreation fees, Affordable childcare, Immunization clinics, Summer programs for children and youth, and Senior citizen services. Members of the WCA family were asked to join the Campaign, commit to being informed, and vote in the 2011 election.
